Getting Started with Bariatric Surgery

1. Determine whether bariatric surgery may be right for you, visit: Am I a Candidate?

2. Download and fill out our patient packet

3. Research your payment options including self-pay, insurance and financing.

4. Attend one of our free bariatric seminars to learn more about our program.

5. You will meet with one of our Bariatric Surgeons who will answer any questions you may have. Meet our team by clicking the following link: Weight Loss Surgeons & Staff.

6. You will undergo a medical evaluation, including lab tests, X-rays of your stomach (UGI series), an EKG, a nutritional evaluation, and psychological evaluation.

If you live out-of town and have made contact with our Clinical Coordinator, we can arrange a full evaluation and screening with limited travel, and in most cases, you should be able to drive or fly back in a couple of days after surgery.

(This option may not be available for those wishing to file for insurance coverage).
